Customs Clearance in Saudi Arabia

Zenlogix handles import and export customs clearance at Saudi seaports, airports, land border crossings and the Riyadh Dry Port, with declarations filed by our licensed customs broker partner. Declarations go through FASAH, the Saudi electronic customs platform. We classify goods under the correct HS codes and arrange payment of customs duty and 15% import VAT to ZATCA, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

Clearance typically takes up to 2 working days. When complete documents are pre-filed before arrival, it is usually about 24 hours. We check your documents for free before the cargo ships, so it does not wait in paid storage after arrival.

We also link the certificates your goods need, such as SABER certificates for SASO-regulated products and SFDA approvals for food, cosmetics, medicines and medical devices, and attend inspections when customs selects a shipment for examination.

Import & Export Clearance

For imports, we prepare and submit the bill of entry on FASAH, check the commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and bill of lading or air waybill, and arrange payment of duty and 15% VAT so the cargo can be released.

For exports, we file the export declaration and prepare the documents your buyer needs at destination. The service covers sea, air and road shipments, including GCC cross-border trucking.

Transit, Bonded Movements & Re-Export

Some goods should not be cleared at the first point of entry. We arrange transit (bonded) movements from the port or airport to the Riyadh Dry Port or another customs office, and transit through Saudi Arabia to neighbouring GCC countries.

We also handle re-export of goods that entered the Kingdom and need to leave again, and coordinate storage in bonded areas where it is useful for your supply chain.

Temporary Admission & Regulated Goods

Equipment brought in for a project, exhibition or repair can often enter under temporary admission, with duties secured rather than paid, as long as it is re-exported on time. We prepare the application and track the deadlines.

For regulated goods we make sure the right approvals are in place before arrival: SABER product and shipment certificates for SASO-regulated products, SFDA clearance for food, medicines, cosmetics and medical devices, and other permits that apply to your cargo.
